Portland, OR, — Manchester Utd Premier Tournament is
one of the US's Premier Elite Youth Soccer Tournaments sponsored by Nike
and Manchester Utd.
SoccerAgent.Net staff and Sir Alex Ferguson were in Portland to watch
the Premier U-15 World Cup Tournament held in Nike World Headquarters
in Portland, Oregon. From 6000 teams, in 40 countries, only 20 of the
best U-15 club teams in the world made it to Beaverton, Oregon. |

| Manchester United went on to play
Celitic and Juventus in Seattle and New York respectively. They won both
games. The Manchester Utd U-15 Academy team did not make it out of the
pool atage in the Nike World Premier tournament. |

Following training and the presentation
of the U-15 Nike World Club trophey Sir Alex spoke with SoccerAgent President
and CEO Darren Pitfield at Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. Pitfield
was on business in Portland at the time and also scouting for players.
Sir Alex also made time to be introduced to some up and coming players
from the area. |
